A 37-year-old woman, Oksana Kobeletskaya, from Odessa, became the mother of quintuplets at once: two girls and three boys. By this time, she and her husband already had a three-year-old daughter, Alice. See how amazing this family is in these beautiful photos.
The babies were born in the 31st week of pregnancy. Their weight ranged from 2.4 pounds to 3.9 pounds. In the first month of life, the babies, when they were still in the hospital, had a memorable photo shoot for them.
“Five pearls,” the elated mother penned as she posted the progress of her newborns on her Instagram. The beautiful couple had given names to their babies the same day they were born: Aleksandra, Dariya, Denis, Vladislav and David.

While the hospital staff were wowed with the beautiful blessing the parents received, the couple was less so. “It almost felt like a nightmare, as if I would wake up at any time. I mean, how would we manage to take care of so many children?” the 37-year-old Ukrainian said.
When the babies were two months and six days old, they were discharged from the Reznik hospital. The first photographs of the twins now adorn the lobby of the hospital.
Shortly after discharge, the mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, presented the young parents with a warrant for a 5-room apartment with an area of 120 square meters.
After being discharged, a group of photographers organized another shoot for the five. According to Yulia Guseva, the author of the photographs, the children pleasantly surprised everyone. “In their two months, it was even easier to work with them than we expected. The kids slept sweetly, and we created a wonderful story of love and friendship for them and their parents, which, I’m sure, began in my mother’s tummy.”
On the hands of the kids, colored strings are tied so that parents can distinguish them from each other. However, the mother of the quintuplets can do without hints. In the Odessa Five blog, she talks in detail about the character and temperament of each of them.
