This Fluffy Egg-Shaped Bird Can Do Perfect Splits

If you’re not a bird watching fan yet, this guy might get you on the hook. The bearded reedling (Panurus biarmicus) has a look that could never be confused with any other species, and this bird can do splits! Perfect ones, for that matter.

This species is a wetland specialist, breeding colonially in large reed beds by lakes or swamps. And well, those reeds are so good for doing splits…
