Without any ᴘᴀɪɴ ʀᴇʟɪᴇF a western Sydney mum has given birth to the ʙɪɢɢᴇsᴛ ʙᴜʙ ever seen at Blacktown Hᴏsᴘɪᴛᴀʟ. Newborn baby boy tipping the scales at 12lb 6oz sᴛᴜɴɴᴇᴅ ᴅᴏᴄᴛᴏʀs in Australia. His parents Nikki, 28, and Michael, 30, they couldn’t recall a ʙɪɢger bundle of joy arriving at the ʜᴏsᴘɪᴛᴀʟ.
Parker, who is perfect health and is at home in Maddison with ʙɪɢ sister Maddison, 20 months was expected to be a ʙɪɢ ʙᴜʙ when he hit 3.5kg at his 24 week growth sᴄᴀɴ. Mom Nikki said: ” My first baby went until 41 weeks and three days , lucky I didn’t go that far or he would have been 6kg-plus. When I was told what sɪᴢᴇ he was I had to ᴄᴀᴛᴄʜ my ʙʀᴇᴀᴛʜ. I nearly Fᴇʟʟ off the ʜᴏsᴘɪᴛᴀʟ ʙᴇᴅ, I was so sʜᴏᴄᴋᴇᴅ. It was ᴜɴᴋɴᴏᴡɴ why he was so ʙɪɢ as they automatically think it’s ᴅᴏᴡɴ ᴛᴏ ɢᴇsᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ ᴅɪᴀʙᴇᴛᴇs but it was suggested that the ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇɴᴛᴀ ᴡᴀsɴ’ᴛ ᴡᴏʀᴋɪɴɢ properly.” At 39 weeks and three days, Mom gave birth to cute Parker James at Blacktown Hᴏsᴘɪᴛᴀʟ without any ᴘᴀɪɴ ʀᴇʟɪᴇF.
Parker’s arrival was celebrated on Blacktown MɪᴅᴡɪFᴇʀʏ Gʀᴏᴜᴘ’s Facebook page in a post that has since ɢᴏɴᴇ ᴠɪʀᴀʟ ᴀᴄʀᴏss ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ. The post read: “This ɢᴏʀɢᴇᴏᴜs ᴄʜᴜɴᴋʏ boy was born on Thursday to one of our MGP Mums, Nikki. He weighed in at ᴀ ʀᴇᴄᴏʀᴅ ʙʀᴇᴀᴋɪɴɢ 5.755kg (12lb 6oz for the old school) and was a natural birth with ɴᴏ ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟɪᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴs. We are happy to ʀᴇᴘᴏʀᴛ the ɴᴏᴛ so little Parker and Mum Nikki are doing well. Welcome to the world Parker, you’ll be the talk of Blacktown Maternity for a long time to come!” Thousands of well-wishers left messages of sᴜᴘᴘᴏʀᴛ to the mum and baby. Riri Vossos wrote: ” Thanks for sharing! We need more positive birth stories especially with ʟᴀʀɢᴇʀ babies. Makes me so much more confident in birthing my chunky little man this month.” One impressed person posted ‘ʜᴏʟʏ ᴍᴏʟʏ’! and ‘what an ᴇᴍᴘᴏᴡᴇʀɪɴɢ and strong mumma ‘. Other women admitted they were ‘glad it wasn’t them’. Nikki said:” He outgrew his clothes very fast and quickly went from 0 sɪᴢᴇd ɴᴀᴘᴘɪᴇs to those for babies from three to six months” .
Parker’s has a proud ʙɪɢ sister Maddison who dotes on his younger sibling. Mom Nikki are hoping that the boy’s sɪᴢᴇ will work to his advantage when older, especially when it comes to playing sport. And hopefully he will be a bit of a football player, maybe a front rower, that’ll keep his dad happy .
