More than once, we have told you about cases where a mother gives birth to her baby during a flight. Now we’re going to share something even more interesting. A baby chooses to be born in the backseat of a car. Isn’t it amazing?
The woman giving birth turns out to be a midwife; she is from Brazil, and she hardly thought that she was about to give birth in a car, but that’s exactly how her baby appears.
Gabriela Correia, 33, is a midwife from Brazil. Recently, she welcomed her second son into the world. The first, Dante, was born at home, in a bathtub. This ᴅᴇʟɪᴠᴇʀʏ was carefully planned and everything went as the woman in ʟᴀʙᴏʀ wanted it to be. In the second case, when Arthur was born, it was completely different.
Gabriela’s second son was to be born in the hospital. When the ᴄᴏɴᴛʀᴀᴄᴛɪᴏɴs appeared, the pregnant woman got into the car with her husband and went to the hospital. However, they did not get there because the ᴅᴇʟɪᴠᴇʀʏ was too fast. When the couple realized that the child would be born in the car, they called their midwife friend Larissa Gomes, doula Joany Nunes, and a photographer who was supposed to capture the event, Deborah Ghelman. The women arrived in no time and helped little Arthur to be born sᴀꜰᴇ and sound. In addition to beautiful shots of his birth, a touching movie was also made.
“The ᴅᴇʟɪᴠᴇʀʏ was quick and surprising. There was no time, but I had good sᴜᴘᴘᴏʀᴛ,” recalled the freshly baked mother on the pages of the Globo portal. The photographer confessed that it was “her” first childbirth outside the hospital, which she witnessed and photographed. “It was a mixture of feelings, but at no point was I ᴀꜰʀᴀɪᴅ. Everyone was in the car, laughing and very happy,” she adds.
Many comments from Internet users, delighted with what they saw, appeared under the published recording. They congratulated mum and dad on the enlargement of the family. They were impressed by the ᴄᴀʟᴍɴᴇss with which the ᴄʜɪʟᴅʙɪʀᴛʜ was taking place, after all. They wrote: “It’s exciting, fast and ᴄʀᴀᴢʏ! Only those who have experienced something like this know. And even more so in the car.”
